Mudryk's former coach: Ukrainian better suited to Arsenal

The former coach of new Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk says the Ukrainian winger would have been better suited to Arsenal after his January transfer window switch to London.

Mudryk completed a £88.5m move to west London after being strongly linked with a move to Mikel Arteta's Premier League leaders.

And Andres Carrasco, who coached the winger in Shakhtar Donetsk's Under-19 team, says Mudryk is better suited to Arsenal than Chelsea.

"This is a club that has been changing recently. But it is good for Mudryk to be in a club that always expects maximum results,' Carrasco told Tribuna.

"Now, he needs to go through a period of adaptation. And only time will tell if it was the right decision for him or not.

"Today, Arsenal, with its style of play, could be more suitable for Mudryk, who successfully uses dribbling and plays one-on-one. It would be better for him, in my opinion."
